Mike represents Veterans nationwide in disability claims before all V.A. regional offices, before the Board of Veterans' Appeals and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims.
Mike has focused on trial and appellate litigation since 1999. His trial practice involves catastrophic injuries and malpractice. Mike presented CLE's on behalf of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, the VFW, the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board, and Tulane University School of Law.
Prior to moving to New Orleans in 2010, Mike was a partner in a mid-sized litigation firm located in Washington, D.C., where he represented attorneys, physicians, construction professionals, and financial institutions. He also handled cases alleging injuries caused by construction equipment, consumer goods, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Mike graduated with honors from the University of Chicago in 1995. He received his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1999. He authored several articles and publications on topics including persuasive writing for litigators, cross-examination of experts, and VA medical malpractice.
